    Description

    This came out of a professional machine shop. The owner used it for many years and the fronts of the jaws were ground to the limit. He welded them and started to grind them but jobs and time got in the way. He is now retiring. For someone who knows how to center grind jaws on their lathe using a tool post grinder, this is a great chuck to buy for the price.
    The mechanism of the chuck works beautifully. The chuck was disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and put back together. The jaws still fit tight on the chuck with perhaps .005" to .010" backlash on the swivel.
