Antique Ship's Binnacle Brass Compass Ritchie Boston Brass Hood Nautical Decor

Description

Antique weathered finish wood binnacle in good solid condition, brass hood with window, Ritchie Pembroke brass compass, 9 1/2"Diameter, marked 116923. Glass is clear and scratch free.  Binnacle has missing door panels, which were modified with red plexiglass.  An electric bulb was installed inside body, for decorative lighting purposes.  Glass on compass is 8", and outside ring is 11 1/2"Diameter.  Spheres are 6 1/2"Diameter.  Total measurement is approximately 43"-44" tall x 15"Diameter.  Nunotani Keik Seisakusho, Ltd. (NK) Clinometer, Amagasaki Japan, still has bubble inside.  Inside lighting as is/ not working. Weight unknown, heavy. 12 photos are a part of this description.
