BEAUTIFUL RELIEF CARVING OF MONKEY ON ONE SIDE; SOME SORT OF INCISED WRITING ON OTHER SIDE
NETSUKE FEATURES A SITTING MONKEY

Appears to be a vintage item of hand carved wood but I was unable to verify its age or the type of wood

Part of a collection of INRO from the Estate of a woman who lived in Japan in the late ‘1980s – early ‘90s (apparently she had quite a collection of Pan Pacific Region antiques and vintage items)

4 SECTION Box (ojime? Sagemono?) measures about 3-1/8" x 2-1/2 x 1" -- hard to tell exactly with relief images

Note inset signature on bottom as shown in the photo

No returns are accepted unless the item was damaged in shipping or grossly not as described and returned in the same condition. Refunds granted only when there is a GROSS error on my end. Buyer must respond within 3 days of receipt of item and ship it back within 7 days. Buyer to pay return shipping costs. Refunds will be for the purchase price excluding shipping costs paid by the seller.
